Welcome to Big Sky Preschool Academy! We are an academic academy that is focused on providing a comprehensive foundation of math and literacy skills through research-based curricula, implemented by licensed educators. We bring our experience from the public schools to adequately prepare our students for the social and academic rigor of kindergarten and beyond!
At Big Sky Preschool Academy, we believe that providing quality educational opportunities at early ages prepares students for the academic rigor of school. To ensure we are providing the highest level of education, we only employ educators that hold a current Montana teaching license. We also believe in implementing developmentally appropriate, researched-based curricula and use current best practices in education. These include:
Offering ample opportunity for play and socialization
Keeping class sizes small
Providing short (15 minutes or less) direct instruction lessons
Maintaining structured classroom environments and promoting independent behaviors
Utilizing positive reinforcement techniques that create an environment where students feel valued and loved
Providing opportunities to enrich all curricular areas, including language, literacy, mathematics, STEM, art, music, and physical health
